Do you remember the 80s cult project Phenomena? This type of grand, keyboard-laden and fate-filled AOR-hard rock hybrid with many singers and instrumentalists is also the case with Gathering Of Kings.

December (Christmas) is a Christmas version of the song December, which is featured on Gathering Of Kings' latest album Discovery.

\"We already thought at the demo stage that December had a really Christmassy vibe. When we were in the studio to record drums for \"Discovery\", we got the idea to re-release the song with a Christmas theme on December 1st. Victor Olsson and Alexander Frisborg have rewritten the lyrics. A lot of other things are also new in the song. Jonny Lindkvist also sings on this version, Victor Olsson plays guitar, bass, keyboards and backing vocals, Efraim Larsson plays drums and Theresia Svensson guests on backing vocals. Now the hard rockers will get their Last Christmas!\" says the band's founder Ron Dahlgren.

The song was written by Victor Olsson, and he wrote the new lyrics together with Alexander Frisborg. Produced, mixed and mastered by Thomas \"Plec\" Johansson at The Panic Room Studio, Skövde. Executive producers are Ron Dahlgren, Nina Dahlgren and Victor Olsson. The cover has been painted by Markus Vesper. The initiators and leaders of Gathering Of Kings, which has been likened to a Swedish Phenomena or Avantasia, are Ron and Nina Dahlgren, who run Rocknytt in their daily lives.
