Præstation

The type of glass and the geometric design of the prisms used to reflect light, which affects image quality and the size of the unit (e.g., BaK-4 Roof or BK-7 Porro).

Prisme-type

The colour e.g. red, blue, green, black, white.

Produktfarve

The type of chemical layer applied to the optical glass to improve light transmission or protect against environmental factors (e.g. Fully Multi Coated).

Linse overflade

The diameter of the light beam exiting the device, measured in millimetres.

Udgangspupil

The actual angular width of the area visible through the optics, typically measured in degrees.

Reelle synsfelt

The angular extent of the image seen through the device, measured in degrees.

Tilsyneladende synsfelt

The width of the area visible through the optics when observing an object at a distance of 1000 metres.

Synsfelt (ved 1000 m)

The minimum distance from the device at which a subject can be brought into sharp focus, measured in m.

Nærmeste fokuseringsafstand

The distance from the rear surface of the eyepiece to the point where the viewer can see the entire field of view without obstruction, measured in millimetres (e.g. 15).

Øjenlindring

This camera function compensates for slight shaking movements caused by an unstable position and ensures smooth footage even in suboptimal conditions.

Billedstabilisator

The degree to which something is or can be magnified (made to appear larger than it is).

Forstørrelse

The diameter of the largest lens at the front of the optical system, measured in millimetres.

Objektiv diameter

The range of correction available to adjust the focus of the eyepiece to compensate for the user's vision, measured in dioptres (e.g., -7 to +3).

Dioptrisk justering (D-D)

The number of individual glass elements arranged in groups within the objective lens system (e.g. 3/1).

Struktur af objektivlinse (elementer/grupper)

The number of individual glass elements organized into groups within the eyepiece assembly.

Struktur af okularlinse (elementer/grupper)
