Da Ichiro Kuga (stemme af Taku Yashiro) bliver værge for sine yngre søskende efter sin fars død, fortsætter han sit arbejde som mangakunstner, men kæmper med at overholde deadlines og lavt salg. Da Shiori Goshiki (Yû Wakui), en talentfuld kunstner, træder ind i hans liv og bliver hans assistent, ændrer alt sig til det bedre.
