A dielectric is an electrical insulator that can be polarized by an applied electric field. Dielectric materials can be solids, liquids, or gases. Solid dielectrics are perhaps the most commonly used dielectrics in electrical engineering, and many solids are very good insulators. Some examples include porcelain, glass, and most plastics. Air, nitrogen and sulfur hexafluoride are the three most commonly used gaseous dielectrics.

Dielektrisk-type

Description of visible characteristics of the product.

Formfaktor

The amount of electrical charge the device can store, measured in nF.

Kapacitans

The maximum allowed deviation from the nominal capacitance value, expressed in % (e.g. ±5%).

Kapacitans tolerance

The electrical potential difference required for the operation of the device, typically measured in volts (V).

Spænding

The effective resistance of an electric circuit or component to alternating current, arising from the combined effects of ohmic resistance and reactance.

Impedens

The number of individual units contained within a single sales package, measured in pc(s).

Antal pr. pakke

Godkendelser

Indicates which regulatory, safety, and environmental standards the product complies with, as verified by recognized authorities or certification bodies.

Compliance-certifikater

Driftsbetingelser

The minimum and maximum temperatures at which the product can be safely operated.
