Correct installation should be performed by a qualified specialist with appropriate knowledge of these products. The following points serve only as guidelines:
1) A torque wrench is required for safe and correct installation of spacers or adapters (do not use pneumatic tools). All corrosion from the hub and brake disc must be removed using sandpaper, wire brush, or wire disc to ensure proper centering and seating of the spacer.
2) Ensure that the spacer or adapter fits completely and evenly against the vehicle hub and that the wheel fits completely and evenly against the spacer surface.
3) Ensure that the spacers or adapters have studs with the same thread pitch as the studs in your vehicle. Otherwise, additional nuts will be necessary.
4) The factory wheel studs in your vehicle may be longer than the thickness of the spacer. In that case, you have several options:
- The factory studs can be shortened or replaced with others.
- Wheels may have pockets or recesses between the mounting holes. If they have the appropriate size and shape to accommodate protruding studs, no modification will be necessary.
5) Never mount wheels on spacers if the factory vehicle studs touch the back of the wheel. Always ensure that the back of the wheel fits completely and evenly against the spacer surface.

In Suzuki Jimny with manual front hub clutches, the centering flange may hinder the installation of spacers on the front axle. We recommend using spacers without a centering flange for the front and with a flange for the rear axle.
