Med deres andet album forsøger Cornucopia at udvide landskabet for, hvad metal kan tilbyde. Mens de ønsker at forblive tro mod kernen af genren, ønsker de at sætte deres eget præg på traditionen, den ambition er realiseret med \"Cosmic Consciousness\". Med sange, der strækker sig op til 7 minutter, går de ind i lange akustiske dele, der minder om en progressiv lyd. Tilføjelsen af synth på to sange samt et kor på den sidste bidrager til pladens tilsyneladende tese, der er en sammenhængende følelse af eksistentiel frygt, men med et strejf af håb, der bærer gennem numrene og deres respektive tekster. Cornucopia er her for at tilføje et nyt lydbillede til metalverdenen og håber at resonere følelsesmæssigt med deres lyttere på en måde, de ikke har prøvet før.

With their sophomore release, Cornucopia tries to widen the landscape of what metal can offer. While trying to remain faithful to the core of the genre they wish to put their own stamp in the tradition, that ambition is realised with “Cosmic Consciousness\". With songs that span up to 7 minutes they go into long acoustic parts that harken back to a progressive sound. The addition of synth on two songs as well as a choir on the last adds to the seeming thesis of the record, there’s a cohesive feeling of existential dread but with a tinge of hope that carries through the tracks and their respective lyrics. Cornucopia is here to add a new soundscape to the metal world and hope to resonate emotionally with their listeners in a way they haven’t tried before.
