Li Han-Hsiang directs this Taiwanese period drama starring Ching Chiang, Lei Zhao and Fang-Hsia Chang. Set during the Warring States period, the film follows the downfall of Goujian (Lei Zhao), the King of Wu, as he prepares to have his vengeance on Fucha (Mu Chu), the King of Wu. The beautiful Xishi (Ching Chiang) is sent to Fucha to become his concubine, and she also spies on him to help Goujian rebuild his kingdom and bring Fucha's reign to an end.
