Within the Galaxy A series, the A13 is one of the more affordable offerings. It has a very large 6.6-inch display, slightly larger than its Galaxy A12 predecessor, but still uses TFT technology, and Samsung has upped the resolution to 2408 x 108 pixels. Thanks to the FHD + quality, the display is now visibly sharper, but in terms of contrast and brightness, however, it doesn't come close to the OLED displays of the more expensive Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53 series models. The frame rate remains at 60 Hz.

Scratch-resistant screen and good selfie camera

With dimensions of 16.5 x 7.6 cm, the entry-level model is slightly larger than the A33, and even slightly thicker. Unlike the higher-end models, the plastic shell is not protected against dust and splashes of water, but the display is still protected by Gorilla 5 glass. The front camera has a resolution of only 8 megapixels and records in Full HD quality at 30 fps, still sufficient values ​​for basic use. Unlike the A33, the fingerprint sensor is not integrated into the display, but on the side of this budget smartphone.

Quad high resolution camera

You can't do without the quad main camera even on the cheapest Samsung phone in the series. The only feature you have to compromise on is resolution. The wide-angle lens with 10x digital zoom is 50 megapixels, but without optical image stabilizer. In contrast, the 123 ° super wide-angle camera with 5 megapixels is much more powerful. In addition to the 2 megapixel macro lens, a 2 megapixel depth sensor is also integrated for the bokeh effect.

Inside is an Exynos 850 processor with 4G, which is slower than the 1280 chip of the higher models in the series. The 32GB version has 3GB RAM, the 64GB and 128GB versions have 4GB RAM.
