Tuppence Middleton and Tom Hughes lead an all-star cast in this BBC adaptation of the classic mystery thriller. Whilst travelling through the Balkans by train in 1931, well-to-do young socialite Iris Carr (Middleton) realises that her recently made acquaintance, Miss Froy (Selina Cadell), has disappeared without trace. With her fellow passengers denying the existence of her new-found friend and convinced that she has been abducted, Iris, aided by the dashing Max Hare (Hughes), sets out to prove her sanity by solving the mystery. Keeley Hawes, Julian Rhind-Tutt and Gemma Jones co-star.
