Sam (Mary-Kate) is a tomboy and a soccer star and Emma is more interested in her clothes that her on-pitch skills. The twins are signed up to teams: Emma (due to their Mum's insistence) to the team coached by their father (Eric Lutes) whilst Sam finds herself in a team where she is a better player than the coach. As everyone is unhappy with this arrangement the sisters decide to switch teams for an important tournament, but in order to do this they also have to switch personalities and this is when the fun begins.
