Alfred Shaughnessy directs this British crime drama in which a man is falsely accused of murder while using an alibi to his wife. In an attempt to conceal his infidelities, Paul Pearson (Patrick Holt) pretends to his wife Lynn (Honor Blackman) that he is visiting his friend while in fact carrying out an affair with his mistress. During his absence, Paul's friend whom he claimed to have been visiting is murdered, leading to Paul's conviction for the crime. Will Paul have no option but to sacrifice his marriage to enable his freedom?
