Unknown to them life in Mountview is about to get far worse for them. A local girl was attacked and killed while swimming in the local lake by a strange form of insect larva which has now begun a killing spree. Soon the whole of Mountview is overrun with the killer insects and it is up to a Dr Fujimoto to trace the insects to their source in order to save the town from total extinction.
