Animated feature based on the characters of the Pok?mon franchise created by Satoshi Tajiri. When a group of scientists seek out the legendary pok?mon Mew in an attempt to use its DNA to create the ultimate pok?mon, the result of their experimentation is beyond their control. The newly born Mewtwo (voice of Jay Goede), an immensely powerful clone of Mew, is taken in by sinister crime boss Giovanni (Ted Lewis) and moulded into a destructive weapon before Giovanni also loses control and Mewtwo escapes into the wider world. Ash Ketchum (Veronica Taylor) and his friends are invited to a grand pok?mon tournament to compete with the best trainers in the region, but the safety of both people and pok?mon is endangered when the mastermind behind the tournament reveals its sinister purpose.
