Alex (Jason Lewis) is a Hollywood writer who meets Reena (Shah) by chance in LA. The pair makes a real connection but Reena is due to fly back to Mumbai and leaves without saying goodbye. She does, however, leave Alex with the advice to 'follow his dreams'. He decides that his dreams include following her to Mumbai and making the Bollywood beauty his bride. Her family, however, are not enamored of the idea of hosting a California playboy in the family mansion.
