When a plane crashes into a remote mountain top, it causes an avalanche that buries a family in their mountain cabin. They manage to revive the pilot only to discover he is a dangerous smuggler who makes them help him look for his lost cache of diamonds. Time is running out, however, and if they're not killed by the ice and snow then perhaps it will be from a bullet fired by a cold hearted stranger.
