Abel Ferrara directs this crime thriller starring Christopher Walken and David Caruso. When organised crime kingpin Frank White (Walken) is released from prison, he immediately sets about eliminating the competition in his South Bronx territory. However, despite the brutality of his campaign to reclaim his empire, White uses all his ill-gotten gains to fund the construction of a hospital in the area.
