Vault 101 is the place you were born. For 200 years, it has been home to the surviving residents of Washington DC after the United States was left in ruins in the global nuclear war in the year 2077. Vault 101s residents live protected from the dangers of the world outside, a world now known as the Capital Wasteland. Yet one morning you wake up to discover that your father has defied the Overseer and left the safety of the vault for reasons unknown.

Barely 19 years old, you leave the vault to step into the merciless wasteland sun and begin the search for your father and for the truth.

Fallout 3 is the latest game from Bethesda Game Studios, behind The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The game takes place in Washington DC several years after a nuclear explosion. It gives the player complete freedom to explore the wasteland and to make decisions that will not only define their character, but also the world around them.

The game also offers an incredible arsenal of weapons: everything from iron pipes to atomic bomb catapults. Weapons youll need when fighting giant bugs, mutated zombies and super mutants. With the V.A.T.S system, you can stop time and target specific body parts and blind, maim or disarm your enemies.
