Derek Bond stars as the eponymous hero, a resourceful young man who is forced to protect his family against the demonic machinations of his wicked Uncle Ralph (Cedric Hardwicke). Cast out into the cold, cruel outside world, Nicholas Nickleby deals adroitly with friend and foe alike - eventually coming full circle to mete out his revenge on his unspeakable uncle. John Mills stars in the classic docu-drama 'Scott ofthe Antarctic' (1948), which chronicles the ill-fated final expedition to the South Pole in 1912 by British explorer Robert Scott .The film is accompanied by the music of Vaughn Williams.
