This amplified aerial adaptor fits in line with the car's aerial connection and has a built in booster to help increase signal strength.

It is designed primarily for VW vehicles which have a short aerial fitted as standard. These cars have a booster built into the original OEM set so when exchanged for a new stereo the booster is removed from the system.
